Consolation

Talk to me.

Give me your Anger

Give me your Fear

Give me your Sorrow

I can handle it.

In this season I will not leave you,

And no, you don’t need to feel better.

Feel the sadness, and I will catch your tears.

Feel the weight of it, and I will carry you.

Allow the confusion to circle around and around in your head, and I will clear the path when you are ready to let go.

I’ve not left you.

I know what this cost you,

and I know this pain feels like forever.

But know that only I am forever.

I have loved you since your first cell separated into two, and I will be there when they join together again, that time for all eternity.

The LOVE is not lost,

I will hold it for you

I will hold it for you until you are reunited.

I will hold it for you until you are ready for it to return to your heart that was once temporarily broken.

I will hold you.
